  1. I’ve never been a big fan of Marilyn Manson’s, but I truly love this quote.

  2. Interesting quote. As a Christian, this would be my response:

It places no value on love…it places value on people. Love cannot have value. Love is an act that shows value. Love is not an object to be worshiped, it is an act that reveals who or what you worship.

  5. LOL STUPID RELIGIOUS FUCKS

  6. Does something have to be rare to be valuable?
even though i dont embrace his gothic ideals, i do love his music ;]

  7. The Bible is not talking about deep romantic love or even friend to friend love here. It is talking about just being decent to fellow human beings. Although, I personally think that if everybody at least liked everyone else as friends the world would be a much happier place. But yeah, if everyone loved everybody romantically or even just super deep, that could get a little strange. And how could your spouse or family feel special? Mr. Manson is a true genious.

  8. It shows the true capacity of love – it’s infinite depth. Loving something that is harder to love doesn’t DEvalue love, it intensifies and heightens its value. What value does it place on my money if I buy a Rolls Royce (much harder to buy) than a skateboard (easy to buy)?

  9. It becomes devalued when u over use it. Love isn’t free. I can’t love a brain dead yuppie the same way I love my friends. Then my feelings towards everyone would be this grey useless word I use for everything. Loving it all puts u at the mercy of everything. Then your enemies kill u and it’s back to the malls and the churches so we can be told how to be better in the eyes of the world and hate what were told is wrong, because “god loves everyone, except for faggots and people who aren’t the same as me.”
